Does the harvesting of bamboo cause deforestation of bamboo forests?
No. Cutting bamboo
stalks will actually promote faster growth of the stumps that
are left behind. Unlike hardwoods that may take decades, bamboo
matures after 4-6 years.

Will bamboo harvesting affect the environment of pandas?
No. BOTHEBAMBOO products are produced with Mao Bamboo. This
species grows in environments in which pandas do not live. Pandas
also don¡¯t eat this particular kind of bamboo.

Are the bamboo product companies devastating bamboo populations
in China?
No. Bamboo cutting is strictly regulated by the government
who seldom give permission to cut certain species.

How long can bamboo made products last?
Under normal conditions, the bamboo made products can
last more than twenty years.
5.
Why do you only use the Mao bamboo to produce your products?
There are more than 1,500 species of bamboo worldwide.
The Mao specie likes to grow in temperate conditions and can be
found in areas of eastern China where temperatures drop below
freezing in the winter and reach over 100 F in the summer. Compared
to tropical species, Mao is far less susceptible to the growth
of moth and fungus. It is also less grainy in texture which makes
them stronger in structure. The Mao specie can often grow to fifty
feet in height and two feet in circumference.

Is visiting the company convenient?
Yes. The company is only 40 miles form Hangzhou and 125
miles from Shanghai.
